The 14 bus timetable is a puzzle nobody asked to solve

The new timetable cuts the last bus home from Lower Ashby to 6:10pm. That isn’t a bus service. It’s a suggestion.

Corrections and tip-offs go to the newsroom. We read everything.

I’ve lived in Brantwick for forty years and I have never needed a degree to catch a bus. Until September.

The new 14 timetable has fewer buses, different times on Saturdays and a last service from Lower Ashby at 6:10pm. If you work a shift in town, you can get there. You just can’t get home.

The bus company says it’s a trial. The consultation closes on 30 October. Please, if you use the 14, tell them what you think. Politely, if you can manage it. I couldn’t.
